EnviousWispr is a privacy-first, on-device dictation tool for macOS that turns spoken words into polished, ready-to-use text in real time. It serves as a local alternative to cloud-based services like Wispr Flow, handling both transcription and editing directly on your Apple Silicon Mac so your audio never leaves your machine.

To use it, just hold a hotkey, speak, and release. EnviousWispr transcribes the audio, strips out filler words, fixes grammar, applies natural formatting, and pastes the clean text exactly where your cursor is.

Local Transcription and Smart Editing

• Flexible polishing: edit your text locally using Apple Intelligence or Ollama. If you prefer cloud models, plug in your own OpenAI or Gemini API key (configured by default to disable data logging and storage).
• Speed: fast processing with a median time of 0.43 seconds for raw text and 1.51 seconds for fully polished text.
